Catch Ideas was created one day when a brain blip happened as I was sitting at my desk. I'm sure I was supposed to be doing something 'productive', but Catch Ideas happened instead. Now, the true trick of life is to make Catch Ideas into something productive. I'm working on that!
Actually, CatchIdeas was a screenname on one of my gazillion email accounts. As happens in life, something catchy (all puns intended) morphs and grows into something else. Today, catch ideas is a hotmail account, a web site, an ezine, a publishing house, and a general catch-all (I know.. these puns need work!) for the creative side of ME!
In MSN's "Writer's Den", I'm known as Mind Gardener... another great screenname that grew out of a conversation with Dear Sis. My professional (in this instance day-job work related) writing falls under the name that Uncle Sam and the I.R.S. use on a regular basis. On occasion, I use the pseudonym 'Benchley'... being S.A. Benchley, Suzie Benchley, or Susannah Benchley, depending on the occasion and/or genre.
From the time I wrote my first play, at age nine, through the angst filled poetry of my adolescence, to the work I'm writing now, I've always known one thing: I love to write!
